DavidCKendall is an accomplished singer/songwriter who has written about social conditions and politics since the 1970’s, when the influences were Woodstock, Richard Nixon, and the Vietnam War. He was a founding member of the San Diego street theatre troupe “The Jackstraws”, performing at Sea World, the San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park from 1976 to 1996, and continuing to write love songs and political songs along the way.
The best of David’s original songwriting skills are represented in the forthcoming CD release, “Breakfast in Haste”, scheduled for release Nov/Dec 2011. These are songs of personal change, politics, and broken hearts. Many are protest songs which match the current turbulent times. The song “Free Society” is being well received by French audiences.
DavidCKendall currently seeks a personal/touring agent who can represent him for concerts in Paris and London, as well as folk festivals throughout Europe. He is currently assembling a group of musicians
to perform the ‘Breakfast in Haste’ album with.
David is also seeking a record label/company for final production mixdown, with an interest in releasing the record on vinyl.
He is married and permanently headquartered in Paris.
